The BIC was rocking to the latin beats, the room was packed with participants dancing their way to fitness, but unfortunately not a Guinness World Record.
Around 750 people participated in the Zumba Smash in aid of local charities Lewis-Manning Hospice and The Wessex Autistic Society on 8 October.
Top local Zumba instructor Tanya Bright and her team led the participants in a 60-minute workout at the Bournemouth International Centre with this infectious and energetic fusion of latin beats.
The charities needed 1250 participants in order to break the current world record but unfortunately came up a little short on this occasion. A new date is already being looked at, with a little push and everyone bringing a friend the record looks in reach for the next attempt.
