Diverse Abilities Plus, a local charity that provides round-the-clock care and support for children and adults with varying disabilities across Dorset, is inviting keen golfers to support them in its first annual golf day taking place at Rushmore Golf Club in Salisbury on Tuesday 24 April.

Rushmore Golf Club
The day will start at 11.30am with registration, coffee, tea and bacon baps. The game will commence with a shotgun start at 1pm and there will be on-course competitions throughout. A two-course meal will follow after play, plus team prizes and an auction with all funds raised going to the charity.
Sharon Wells, Events Officer at Diverse Abilities Plus, said: “The golf day is going to be an enjoyable event in a fantastic location with great views. We thank Rushmore Golf Club for hosting our first annual golf day, which will be raising money for the charity so that we can continue the invaluable support that we provide children and adults.”
Rushmore Golf Club is an 18-hole course set high on the chalk of Cranborne Chase, in the heart of historic Rushmore Park, and has the unusual distinction of the course having nine holes in Dorset and nine holes in Wiltshire.
Entry is £295 for a team of four and the maximum handicap is 36 for ladies and 28 for men.
Diverse Abilities Plus is also appealing for auction prizes to be won on the day. If you would like to take part or offer an auction prize please contact Sharon at sharon.wells@diverseabilitiesplus.org.uk or telephone 01202 711502.
