Songsters, musicians, poets and comedians are invited along to Olives Et Al in The Potting Shed deli café at Poundbury Gardens, Poundbury, Dorchester on Friday, 22nd June to enjoy an evening of food and great fun.
“We hope lots of people will book a table and come along to make the atmosphere great on the night and anyone who wants to perform can do! The winning performer, as voted for by the gathered crowd, will win their supper for free and we’re also preparing a hamper packed with food for them to take away afterwards,” explained Lucy Altuzzara, manager of The Potting Shed deli café.
A special menu is being created for the evening and tables need to be booked in advanced; with dinner being served at 7pm. Afterwards, depending on the amazing talent in The Potting Shed, there may be opera, acoustic guitar, a comedy interlude or a recital of poetry and as Lucy explains there is a lot of talent in Poundbury; “Our regulars are a talented bunch and I’m sure this will be a great evening for the confident and not so confident performers!”
