Julia’s House is seeking auction prizes for its Enchanted Garden Ball in September.
Items offered up so far include premiership tickets, golf and spa days, a limited edition Farrow & Ball Sky box and a VIP pass to filming of the popular television show Mock The Week.
The auction is one of the highlights of the ball, which is being held in the Walled Garden at Upton Park on September 29th.
“We love it when people donate special items to auction, but equally, it’s great to be offered ‘experiences’ that money can’t buy,” explained ball organiser Linda Schofield-Green
“In fact, some of the best donations don’t cost a penny. They are about someone sharing what they already have with other people.
“For instance, a chef offering to cook a meal for a group of people, a classic car or boat owner donating a trip, use of a holiday home for a week or even a flight,” said Linda.
Last year, top three-day eventer William Fox-Pitt donated a tour of his stables, dinner with his family and showjumping tickets and pop star Kylie Minogue’s choreographer offered a dance session.
If you have an auction prize you would like to donate, please call Linda or Nikki on 01202 644220.
* The Enchanted Garden Ball’s early bird ticket offer runs until Friday, August 3rd. Visit juliashouse.org for further details.
