Ever written a poem on a plane? How about on a crow? Do both on Thursday 9 August at ‘Lottie Limber’s Shoebox of Fun!’ Enjoy an interactive session with Lottie Limber author, David Herring, who’ll be reading from his story and helping you to write your very own poems. Follow Lottie’s riddles around the museum. Can you find the objects? Build an Eye Soar Tower as high as you can. Then…knock it down! Write or draw on tillrolls and tickets, luggage labels, plates and pipes, and post them in Lottie’s shoebox for her to enjoy later! Bring the story to life with artist Sarah Leithead, making cockroaches and crows, moonbeams and much, much more!
Story times will be at 11am, 12pm, 2pm and 3pm. Numbers are limited so it is first come first served.
Admission is £3.50 per person (adult or child) and includes all Lottie Limber activities and entry to the museum. For further information please contact the museum on 01202 882533 or visit our new website at www.priest-house.co.uk.
