Seeker News editor Steve Cook is justifiably proud of the Seeker News website
Seeker News is a great read… but don’t just take our word for it.
Our readers obviously agree as well because our bounce rate – that’s the percentage of single page visits – for the last year is just 6.73%!
That means only 6.73% of visitors to Seeker News took one look and left. In other words, a whopping 93.27% explored the Seeker News website for two or more pages.
“Clearly, not only are we running great content, but the right people are seeing that content as well,” says Seeker MD and Seeker News editor Steve Cook.
Google Analytics reckon a 50% bounce rate on a content-rich news site or information-based blog is acceptable and 25% is considered very good. If the bounce rate is more than 50% the content is probably not getting to those it is intended for and if it shows more than 80% then the site owner needs to think again.
But according to TechWyse internet marketing analysts the Seeker News bounce rate indicates nothing but good things.
“Less than 6% of the sites we measure have a bounce rate this low,” they told us. “If you have metrics this good you are doing something very right!”
Seeker News also has strength in depth with unique users visiting an average four pages each.
“Seeker News is all about top quality content that people want to read and the word of mouth feedback we receive has always been excellent, so to have a general consensus backed by hard facts is great news,” says Steve Cook.
“It makes the free banner ads that we give Seeker News magazine print advertisers with their half- or full-page adverts even more valuable!”
