Bournemouth beach closed due to suspected unexploded bomb

An area of Bournemouth beach is closed after the discovery of an item thought to be an unexploded bomb.

A 400 metre cordon is in place around the object in an area of the beach that is being used for the Bournemouth Air Festival nighttime activities and bomb disposal experts have been called in.

It is not yet know how this discovery will affect the air show programme for tomorrow.
