David and Sharon,
Local financial services company Complianz Ltd, based in Poole, has taken on Sharon Poulton as a partner in the business. Sharon, who is fully FPC (Financial Planning Certificate) qualified, has been running her own financial consultancy having previously worked as an Independent Financial Advisor (IFA).
Complianz specialise in providing regulatory advice to IFA’s and mortgage brokers. The company, run by local businessman David Tonkes, promotes practical and pragmatic assistance, particularly in relation to the Retail Distribution Review (RDR), compliance procedures, treating customers fairly, pension transfers and training and competence. The financial services industry is set to be shaken up in 2013 by the introduction of the RDR, which aims to give consumers more confidence in the advice they are given and ensure that the products they are sold are best suited to their needs.
David is delighted to welcome Sharon to Complianz: “Sharon has a wealth of financial services knowledge and her experience and expertise will mean we can offer our clients a wider range of services. I am really looking forward to working with Sharon as we gear up for the introduction of the RDR next year.”
