DON’T miss out on tickets for this month’s Purbeck Folk Festival – Dorset’s greatest small festival.

Sixty folk, roots and world music acts – including acclaimed singer-songwriter KT Tunstall – have now been confirmed for the three-day event.
And tickets are selling quickly for the festival’s fourth outing, which takes place in the beautiful Purbeck Hills, on a sheep farm in Langton Matravers, near Swanage from Friday to Sunday, August 24-26.
The Ivor Novello and Brit awards winner will close Saturday night of the August Bank Holiday event, fast becoming one of the UK’s top family-friendly music festivals. It was top of Q Magazine’s list of the UK’s greatest small festivals.
Day tickets, £5 (for youngsters) to £45, are now on sale. As well as the music, there are food and ale festivals focusing on local produce and camping is available over the weekend.
Dorset bands will join UK and international favourites at the festival, with Shooglenifty and The Destroyers headlining the Friday and Sunday line-ups respectively.
