Tigers to drop in on Foundation Hospitality Day

Pilots taking part in Sunday’s flying programme at the Bournemouth Air Festival on 2nd September are being encouraged to call into the VIP Hospitality Marquee in support of the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation Hospitality Day. The Royal Navy Black Cats Display Team and the Tigers Parachute Display Team have already confirmed and are sure to provide the guests with a day to remember.

The hospitality day is held each year to raise funds for the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation which was founded 4 years ago in memory of Lt John Thornton who was killed in Afghanistan. The Foundation provides opportunities for local young people to follow their dreams and has to date supported 250 young people with awards of over £170,000.

The hospitality marquee offers guests an outstanding VIP experience. Located on the beach right at the epicentre of the flight line, it provides the perfect setting to watch the stunning action. With Champagne on arrival, a sumptuous two-course lunch with wines, afternoon tea, and magnificent fruit and cheese platters guests really do enjoy the show in style.

A raffle and silent auction offering some great prizes, including a VIP Visit for two people to the Red Arrows ‘Home’ at RAF Scampton all adds to the excitement of the day.

Event organiser Maurice Patterson reports that tickets are selling fast. To secure a place contact 01425 274300 or email maurice.patterson@gmail.com
