Bernie Shrosbree
Bournemouth Collegiate School has appointed Bernie Shrosbree as its Director of Performance and full time performance coach. Stephen Duckitt, BCS Principal, says, “BCS is delighted to welcome Bernie Shrosbree. We are incredibly excited at having him on board and working with our Sports Academy pupils. He is not just a world class athlete but also a highly respected international coach and team building expert. He has an engaging personality and infectious drive, passion and determination. He will add so much to our already excellent sporting programme. It is certainly exciting times at BCS”
Bernie who is also a performance coach to the Red Bull F1 Racing team and Mark Webber, was an international tri athlete for 6 years and is a former British cross-country ski champion. Bernie Shrosbree added, “It is a really great opportunity for me to be part of the BCS Sports Academy Team. It’s a real pleasure to work with grass root kids in sport, helping them achieve their full potential in their given disciplines. Creating the right training environment, nurturing committed and passionate individuals can only create champions. I am looking forward to working with the specialist BCS sports coaches and the PE department to identify those individuals and team players that want to be coached in achieving their full potential.”
