It’s time to head back to school with Jobshop UK’s ‘Back to School Quiz’ held at Parkstone Grammar School in Poole on Friday 14 September to raise vital funds for a local charity.
School dinners, bangers and mash, a tuck shop and a bar are on offer as well as a prize for the winning team and detentions for the underperformers. School uniform fancy dress is encouraged.
Nigel Hedges of Bournemouth Trade and Commerce will take on the role of quizmaster for the evening which starts at 7pm. Entry is £90 per team of six. All proceeds from the event will go directly to Lewis-Manning Hospice, a charity based in Poole which provides free care and support to local people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
Maria Tidy, Fundraising Manager at the hospice said: “We’re really grateful to Jobshop UK for sponsoring this great event and we’d encourage attendees to dress in their best school uniform. Our quiz nights are always great fun and the money will go back into caring for local people with cancer.”
