Poole based Chartered Builders, Greendale Construction, have embarked upon the complete redevelopment of the Volkswagen Breeze Commercial Vehicle Centre in Southampton.
The refurbishment of the Salisbury Road site will bring the centre up to the latest Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle standards and will deliver a completely fresh look with new entrance portal. All the external landscaping areas will be upgraded, and internally the showroom, Service reception and customer areas are being totally refurbished.
The works are planned for completion by December 2012 and Greendale are working closely with Breeze Van to enable the centre to remain open throughout, ensuring business remains unaffected. Tim Treweeks, Head of Business at Breeze Van commented. “I’m delighted that the refurbishment works have started and I can assure all our customers that we are open for business as useful, and I do apologise for any inconvenience whilst the work takes place.
“The development will give all our current and new customers a facility to view new and used vehicles as well as providing a fantastic facility for all our customer’s service, repair and MOT requirements.”
Greendale Director, Chris Kane said: “We have been working closely with Breeze on this major investment for them for many years and are pleased to see works on site are now commencing, and look forward to developing a greatly improved Centre.”
