Brittany Ferries adds more Poole-Cherbourg services to help passengers during the industrial dispute

Brittany Ferries is extending the season by adding more crossings to the Poole-Cherbourg route to help customers who want to get to or from France without the extra drive to Dover or Calais. The high-speed service taking just 2 ½ hours will be particularly useful for those residing in the West Country.

Priority will be given to customers already holding bookings on Brittany Ferries who will still be entitled to onward travel costs in France if their original booking was from a French port other than Cherbourg.

The schedule is:

Monday 1st October
Depart Poole 1700, arrive Cherbourg 2030; depart Cherbourg 2130, arrive Poole 2300
Tuesday 2nd October
Depart Poole 1530, arrive Cherbourg 1900; depart Cherbourg 1800, arrive Poole 2030
Wednesday 3rd October
Depart Poole 1830, arrive Cherbourg 2200; depart Cherbourg 2300, arrive Poole 0030
Thursday 4th October
Depart Poole 1900, arrive Cherbourg 2230; depart Cherbourg 2330, arrive Poole 0100
Friday 5th October
Depart Poole 1930, arrive Cherbourg 2300; depart Cherbourg 2359, arrive Poole 0130
