Cherries chairman Eddie Mitchell insists that finding the right man to take the helm at Goldsands Stadium is the priority and, in a statement on the club website, he says he’s prepared to take his time to make the right decision.

Dennis Rofe and Chris Hargreaves take charge for the Cherries match at Coventry on Saturday
Bookies are touting a variety of names including Eddie Howe, who has ruled out a move back to Bournemouth and Harry Redknapp.
In an interview on Hot Radio Eddie Mitchell responded to speculation about the former Spurs manager taking over: “We’ve spoken about the football club and the best way forward, and Harry knows my feelings but I can’t say much more than that.
“Harry is his own man and he’s got the capability to manage at a club much higher than a League One club, but that’s where we are at the moment.”
In the meantime first-team coach and ex-Leicester City player Dennis Rofe and Chris Hargreaves will take charge of the side for this Saturday’s fixture at Coventry.
Rofe’s previous management experience was a 16 month spell at Bristol Rovers 20 years ago, and his coaching CV includes a long association with Southampton before joining the Cherries in June this year.
