Highly regarded tax specialist joins Princecroft Willis

TAX specialist Linda Preece has joined Dorset and New Forest chartered accountants and business advisers Princecroft Willis (PcW) as Technical Tax Director.

A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), she is a Chartered Tax Advisor with more than 30 years’ experience.

After graduating with a first class honours degree in mathematics and statistics from Swansea University, Linda trained and spent ten years with an international accountancy firm, including a two-year secondment to New Zealand.

Shortly after her return to the UK, she joined the south coast practice of another major firm of accountants, where she remained for more than 20 years, based predominantly in Poole.

Linda specialises in corporate tax advisory work and has many years of experience in corporate planning, particularly for owner-managed companies, including acquisitions/disposals and restructuring exercises. She has extensive knowledge of corporate tax reliefs and other planning opportunities.

As well as being an expert in the taxation of companies, Linda also provides advice to shareholders/directors on personal tax planning and wealth extraction.

Mark Johns, PcW’s Managing Partner, said he was “thrilled” to welcome Linda to the firm.

PcW is the largest firm of independent chartered accountants and business advisers in Dorset and the New Forest with nine partners and more than 100 team members.
