Wave 105 panto dames return to the stage

Wave 105 travel correspondent Kate Weston will star in Sleeping Beauty at the Bournemouth Pavilion

This pantomime season will see Wave 105 journalist Shireen Jordan and traffic and travel correspondent Kate Weston return to tread the boards in Southampton and Bournemouth at Christmas.

Following her performance in last year’s record breaking production of Jack and the Beanstalk, Kate returns to the Bournemouth Pavilion to take on the new role of Good Fairy in Sleeping Beauty.

Running from December 8^th 2012 to January 6^th 2013, the all-star cast features infamous panto villain Su Pollard as Kate’s counterpart, Bad Fairy, and the children’s television favourite Chris Jarvis as Happy Harry.

From December 22^nd 2012 to January 19^th 2013, Shireen will join the cast of Jack and the Beanstalk at The Mayflower, Southampton. Performing as ‘Lady in Waiting’, she will star alongside Celebrity Big Brother winner Julian Clary as Spirit of the Beans, Nigel Havers as Fleshcreep and Lee Mead, who makes his pantomime debut in the lead role of Jack.

Shireen Jordan said: “I’m delighted to be returning to The Mayflower this year as part of a star studded cast. With more than 50 performances, it will be an amazing experience and I can’t wait!”
